Illustrations

Though our primary visual language is photography, we may utilize illustration to represent an idea or capture a more abstract concept. Examples of these instances include pairing illustration with editorial pieces, infographics within a viewbook or animated video content.

Taking hints from the other graphic elements, the illustration style combines color blocking with linear elements. Illustrations strike a balance between bold and approachable, aiming to depict a clean, easy-to-understand scene rather than something overly complex.

An expanded palette is available for illustrations, but only to represent skin tones — all other elements are in maroon, gold, ivory, light blue, white or black.
